On day 2, all groups were sent to different places in the city, to explore different themes and contexts. Group 1 lead by professor Ana Maria Fernandez from the University of Oviedo met on the Rialto Bridge.  Professor Fernandez had this to say afterwards: 

“On our excursion, we discovered the different faces of the Rialto bridge very early in the morning. We visited this cultural heritage monument linking one side of the city to the other and witnessed how crowds of people started to invade the bridge as the hours went by. We found the personal experience of the tourists was done through the use of social media and the obsession of self-portraits. We witnessed how the experiences of the visitors are often done through  selfies, and not by exploring the landscape or the view”
