Wednesday evening in Palazzo CRAFT included two lectures. The first was Tobias Linden, guest lecturer from University of Köln, who held a lecture titled ”Carneval of the monobloc – Covering, Manipulating and Masking.” The second lecture titled ”Urban Carpet – A case of Cultural Heritage intervention” was held by Elias Melvin Christiansen from Aalborg University. Both lecturers captured the essence of our presence in the Art Biennale with the CRAFT project. The first taking the Monobloc as a shared cultural heritage into the scenery of Venice. The other showing how rethinking the city with cultural heritage in mind can change how citizens perceive their surroundings.
