Activity identification: C9
Fields: Higher Education
Activity Type: SP-HE-SHORT – Short-term joint staff training events
Activity Description: Short-term joint staff training event module 7 will execute the courses building on O5, design and development of Case Study, and O6, design and development of two Outreach Activities. The courses involved in C9 have been continuously designed and developed during the CRAFT project period, based on the experiences and evaluations of all new developed joint multidisciplinary courses.
The form of the short-term joint staff training event module 7 will be a programme with a mix of lectures, presentations by the participants, discussants, and hands-on workshops, for working on the production of O5 and O6.
The short-term joint staff training event will cover the newly developed joint multidisciplinary teaching approach, covering both the results of the Case Study launched as a competition for Master students and PhD students and the Outreach Activities carried out as an exhibition and a theatre event involving both students and young local people. The activities are expected to catalyze innovative results built on shared cultural heritage.
The execution of the Case Study O5, and the Outreach Activities O6 will give a high impact on the cooperation between regional authorities, and by doing this promote the development of education, training and youth systems and their integration in actions of local and regional development.
The aim of the Case Study and the Outreach Activities is also to provide students with the opportunity to demonstrate their mastery of key competencies in a multidisciplinary innovation-based, self-driven design process. The objective is furthermore to provide the students with the skills to analyze critical aspects concerning the construction and design of innovative product details.
The event will present the project’s outline (2021), objectives and expected outcomes, as well as the designs, experiments and prototypes developed by the students in the Case Study O5, and the Outreach Activities O6.
The events will be carried out as an exhibition, showcasing the competition for Master Students and PhD students (O5) and as a performance and theatre event at AMAT Rossini Theatre in Pesaro 2021 (O6) to initialize and catalyze a reaction and thereby perform actions and new designs that create innovative practices built on shared cultural heritage.
The results produced in C9 and C10 will be showcased at E6.
Furthermore, there will be made a documentation and evaluation that will be part of Intellectual Output O7, Design and development of CRAFT Handbook which is the output type: Learning / teaching / training material – Manual / handbook / guidance material.
