Denmark

Denmark, officially the Kingdom of Denmark, is a Nordic country and a sovereign state. Danes enjoy a high standard of living and the country ranks highly in some metrics of national performance, including education, health care, and protection of civil liberties, democratic governance, prosperity, and human development. Denmark has 5,700.000 inhabitants and is characterised by universal welfare services such as free healthcare and free education – like the other Nordic countries. The Danish workforce is characterised by having one of the world’s highest levels of education and being very mobile. Modern design and great architecture is part of Dane’s daily lives, they consume a greater proportion of organic produce than any other people and their love of sustainability, nature and food has resulted in the New Nordic food movement.
